This is the best house Loos ever built. The last 50 years all repairs were done with tape and thumbtacks, so the result was worse than before but … it survived the communist era. This is the house with deeper space effects than any other Loos house. See for instance the connection of the vestibule and the living room, the dining room and the living room or the lady’s room and the living room. The tree relations are different but intense and gives you the feeling of adventure. You have to see it in real live to appreciate the photographs. |
