In 1765 general von Prittwitz built a manor on the site of an old coutryhouse. In 1814 when chancellor Hardenberg Quilitz was raised to the peerage becam the proprietor of this coutry place. After a rejected plan by Neubarth aus Wriezen Hardenberg asked Schinken to make a design to remodel the old manor.. Unfortunately the comissionner died before it was finished. |
